Your Privacy Choices
Collecta gives you control over the personal information we collect through the app and our website. The choices below cover the rights you have under U.S. state privacy laws (including California's CCPA/CPRA, Virginia's VCDPA, Colorado's CPA, and similar frameworks), the EU/UK GDPR, and other applicable regulations. For the underlying disclosures, see our Privacy Policy.
Access and review your data
See the personal information we hold about you, including profile, collection records, transactions, and support history.
Export your data
Receive a machine-readable copy of your collection, valuations, exhibition history, and account profile.
Correct your information
Update your name, contact info, or any collection record from within the app. For information we hold that you cannot edit directly, contact us.
Delete your account and data
Permanently remove your Collecta account, profile, private files, drafts, saved items, and account-owned collection data that is not needed for legal or operational records. Completed transactions, professional or provenance-linked artwork records, moderation and audit records, and Google Play billing ledger identifiers may be deidentified and retained only as long as needed for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, billing-integrity, or provenance obligations. Apple and Google subscriptions must be canceled with the app store. If you enabled marketplace seller payouts, email us to close or deauthorize the linked Stripe Connect account; Stripe or Collecta may retain identity, payout, tax, and transaction records where required by law.
Opt out of sale or sharing of personal information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable.
Manage email communications
Choose which transactional and product emails you receive. Marketing emails (where applicable) include an unsubscribe link in every message.
Response times and verification
We respond to verifiable requests within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally 45 days under CCPA/CPRA, extendable by 45 days when reasonably necessary; one month under GDPR). To protect your information, we verify identity before fulfilling access, deletion, or correction requests. For most requests we can verify identity using the email associated with your account; additional verification may be required for sensitive requests.
Non-discrimination
You will not be denied service, charged a different price, or receive a lower quality of service because you exercised any of your privacy rights.
